Nicole Richie: I love to sleep. I like to sleep so much that I wake up exhausted.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Really?

Nicole Richie: From sleeping so hard.

Nicole Richie: I'm having sleep issues, in my mind, because I'm just always tired. I just basically want to find out if I have a problem. Am I just in love with sleep or do I actually have a sleep problem?

Nicole Richie: Hi, I'm Nicole.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Hi.

Nicole Richie: Very nice to meet you.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: So, how can I help you today?

Nicole Richie: I'm not getting enough sleep. Look at my bags.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Those are bags? I saw you filled out a questionnaire. You said sitting and reading, you don't fall asleep?

Nicole Richie: No, I don't read.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: You don't. At all?

Nicole Richie: No.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: How about watching TV?

Nicole Richie: Does it matter what I'm watching?

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Yeah, if it's something very exciting, it's probably going to keep you up.

Nicole Richie: It's mostly thrillers or porn.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Does that keep you up?

Nicole Richie: No, it actually puts me right to sleep.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Do you snore?

Nicole Richie: No.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: And you sleep next to somebody?

Nicole Richie: Mm-hmm (affirmative.)

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: And is that somebody bothering you while you sleep?

Nicole Richie: I mean, he bothers me just in life.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Yeah.

Nicole Richie: Oh, I do sweat in my sleep. Is that bad?

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: It's not bad, but it may mean that you're dreaming. Do you dream a lot?

Nicole Richie: A lot.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: A lot of nightmares?

Nicole Richie: They're not nightmares, but I do like to have fun. It's always an adventure.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Some of the things we can do is to get you in for a sleep study and if it turns out that you do have something like sleep apnea then we can treat you with something like this.

Nicole Richie: What is this?

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: This is what we call a nasal CPAP mask.

Nicole Richie: Can I try one on?

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Sure.

Nicole Richie: Whatsup. How much sleep am I supposed to get?

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: About seven hours.

Nicole Richie: Are people that sleep walk crazy?

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Not at all.

Nicole Richie: If I dream about cats, am I crazy?

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: That depends.

Nicole Richie:
If you die in your dream, do you really die?

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: No.

Nicole Richie: Do you sleep naked?

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Stop, you got me there. You want to get a tour of the lab?

Nicole Richie: I would love a tour of the lab.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: This is the sleep room.

Nicole Richie: Ooh, bed in an office, into it. Do you have room service here?

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Nope. Just sleep service.

Nicole Richie: I mean I'll sleep right now.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: It's only 11 o'clock.

Nicole Richie: No, it's fine. I woke up two hours ago. I'm exhausted.

Speaker 3: This is electrodes. They'll go on your face. We'll be monitoring the way you sleep.

Speaker 3: We have 25.

Nicole Richie: Okay. Now no one's jizzed in these, right?

Speaker 3: They're very clean.

Nicole Richie: Okay. And no one's coming here and blown a little loady load?

Speaker 3: No we're good.

Nicole Richie: All right.

Speaker 3: Good night, Nicole.

Nicole Richie: Goodnight. Love you.

Speaker 3: Nicole. Time to wake up. Did you sleep okay?

Nicole Richie: I did. I slept great actually.

Speaker 3: The doctor would like to see you. All right?

Nicole Richie: All right.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: So how do you feel?

Nicole Richie: I actually feel really good.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Look at that. No bags under your eyes.

Nicole Richie: Yeah.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Good news is you don't really have a sleep disorder.

Nicole Richie: Okay, that's great.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: I would take a nap every day.

Nicole Richie: I don't really nap. I don't really sleep anywhere else. Just mainly my house and frat houses.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: A nap every so often is good for you.

Nicole Richie: If you say it's okay, then I'll take a little disco nap.

Dr. Avi Ishaaya: Take a nap at 2:00 PM.

Nicole Richie: I will demand it.
